Each macaranga bronze leaf is 100% bronze, individual and has been cast using a real leaf collected on the Gold Coast.
These macaranga bronze leaves have been displayed in two solo exhibitions ‘Contaminated’ at Outer Space, Brisbane and ‘Contaminated: Site 3’ at La Perouse Museum, Sydney.
The bronzes have been patinated using PFAS contaminated waters collected from recorded contaminated sites across Queensland and Northern New South Wales. These works are not considered toxic to have in your home environment.
Each work approximately measures 100mm x 150mm and have copper wire for hanging on the back.
