Ahimsa silk sourced from Northern India, ‘Ahimsa’ means ‘no kill’. The silk moth is allowed to hatch from the cocoon and live through its life cycle which gives this silk textile a beautiful slub texture.
Botanically printed using Australian native plants collected on the Gold Coast
The monoprint design is mirrored down the length horizontally
The bottom section has a beautiful dark green where it was exposed to the dyepot
